Dr. House is a board-certified neurosurgeon and brings more than a decade of specialized experience to your care. Dr. House focuses on the surgical treatment of Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Brain Tumors, and Trigeminal Neuralgia in addition to providing general neurosurgical services. As an experienced educator and researcher, Dr. House is pleased to provide unique expertise to the surgical treatment of these conditions.

Experience:

Neuromodulation (stimulating the nervous system) is a profoundly beneficial therapy for improving quality of life. Achieving optimal outcomes requires dedication and experience. Dr. House is the only fellowship trained functional neurosurgeon in the Intermountain West. He has personally treated more than 500 patients with deep brain stimulation therapy. He has performed more than 200 cortical resections solely for the treatment of epilepsy, and has placed more than 300 vagus nerve stimulation systems.

Dr. House has served as an invited guest lecturer and educator to train other Neurosurgeons in functional and stereotactic surgical techniques. He has served on the executive board and as President of the regional Rocky Mountain Neurosurgical Society.
